John Joseph (John Joe) FREELEY

Edith (Cutchie) O'HARA [Parents] was born about 1905 in Co. Westmeath. She died date unknown. Edith married John Joseph (John Joe) FREELEY on 1932 in Skerries, Co. Dublin.

James O'HARA [Parents] was born about 1819 in probably Killargue, Co. Leitrim. He died 25 Feb 1891 in Derry city, Northen Ireland. James married Mary SCALES about 1851.

James joined the RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary) in 1839 at the age of 20. It's known that he served in Co. Clare for nearly four years, and from 1851 until 1866 he served in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. He retired as a head constable in 1874.

Mary SCALES was born about 1821 in probably Chester, Cheshire. She died 17 Feb 1911 in Bantry, Co. Cork. Mary married James O'HARA about 1851.

It's believed Mary was a Quaker. Mary died in Bantry where her daughter Mary ran a shop with her husband.

Patrick J. (P.J.) CONNOLLY was born 16 Mar 1896 in Barnaderg, Co. Galway. He died 26 May 1980 in Oldtown, Co. Dublin. Patrick married Ellen (Nell) O'HARA on 6 Aug 1924 in SS Michael & John Church, Dublin.

P.J. and Nell lived in Oldtown, Co. Dublin.

Ellen (Nell) O'HARA [Parents] was born 18 Jul 1893 in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath. She died 6 Feb 1980 in Dublin and was buried 8 Feb 1980 in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. Ellen married Patrick J. (P.J.) CONNOLLY on 6 Aug 1924 in SS Michael & John Church, Dublin.
