John O'HARA [Parents] was born about 22 Jan 1860 and was christened 22 Jan 1860. He died in probably Australia. John married Annie DOLAN.

Sponsors at John's baptism were John Keveney and Joanna O'Hara.

John emigrated to New Zealand, moving about 1896 with his family to Sydney, Australia.

Annie DOLAN died in probably Australia. She married John O'HARA.

Lawrence Joseph O'HARA was born 30 Apr 1889 in Taradale, New Zealand. He died 14 Jun 1919 in Paddington, NSW and was buried in Waverley Cemetery, Waverley, NSW.

Lawrence was elected Member for Paddington in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly on 24 May 1919. He died 22 days later (probably a victim of the 1919 influenza pandemic) before he could take up his seat.

John Victor Alexander HUDSON [Parents] was born 27 Jan 1897 in Dingle, Co. Kerry and was christened 3 Mar 1897 in Dingle, Co. Kerry. He died 6 Jan 1941 in Monkstown, Co. Dublin and was buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. John married Alphra Gwendoline COURTNEY on 9 Sep 1929 in St. Mary's Parish Church, Donnybrook, Dublin.

John served in France in World War I and was badly wounded. He was a very tall man of heavy build.

Alphra Gwendoline COURTNEY [Parents] was born about 1894 in Mount Minnett, Kilmurry, Co. Limerick. She died 6 Sep 1964 in Dublin and was buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. Alphra married John Victor Alexander HUDSON on 9 Sep 1929 in St. Mary's Parish Church, Donnybrook, Dublin.

Alphra and her family seem to have used both Courtney and Courtney-Gabbett as surnames. After their marriage, John and Alphra lived at 'Glengariff', Alma Road, Monkstown, Co. Dublin. At the time of the marriage of her son Ian in 1961, the widowed Alphra was living at 19 Garview Terrace, off Ailesbury Road, in Dublin; and at the time of her death three years later, she was residing at 19 Garville Road, Rathgar, Co. Dublin.

Robert (Robin) Henry HUDSON was born about 1931 in Dublin. He died 7 Oct 1960 in Dublin and was buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin.

Charles Marshall COURTNEY was born in probably Co. Limerick. He died after 9 Sep 1929. Charles married Gwendoline MAUNSELL on 1893 in Dublin.

Charles grew up in Mount Minnett, Co. Limerick. His family appears to have used the surname Courtney-Gabbett as well as Courtney.

Gwendoline MAUNSELL was born in Co. Limerick. She died before 9 Sep 1929. Gwendoline married Charles Marshall COURTNEY on 1893 in Dublin.

Prior to her marriage it's possible Gwendolen lived on Sydney Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. After their marriage Charles and Gwendolen lived in Mount Minnett, Kilmurry, Co. Limerick and later on Lindsay Road, Drumcondra, Dublin.

John Arthur COOKE was born 1861 in Yorkshire. He died after 4 Mar 1937. John married Frances Elizabeth ASHWELL on 1901 in Nottingham.

Frances Elizabeth ASHWELL [Parents] was born 1852 in Nottingham. She died 1926 in Bournemouth, Hampshire. Frances married John Arthur COOKE on 1901 in Nottingham.
