Maurice Joseph MULVIHILL [Parents] was born 1915 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 17 Sep 2007 in Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo. Maurice married Winifred (Winnie) Agnes O'HARA on 1941 in England.
Maurice's mother died when he was only 15 days old. After leaving school he ran the family farm with his father and brothers before moving to England in 1939. After his marriage, he and his wife, Winnie (O'Hara), lived in Barnes in London for several years before deciding to move to New York, where Winnie had siblings. They returned to London in the late 1950s where Maurice and Winnie trained as publicans, eventually running their own pub. In 1980 Maurice and Winnie moved back to Ireland and settled in Tourlestrane, Co Sligo.

Winifred (Winnie) Agnes O'HARA was born in Co. Sligo. She died 5 Oct 2001 in probably Co. Sligo. Winifred married Maurice Joseph MULVIHILL on 1941 in England.
Winnie and Maurice lived in London for many years before retiring to Winnie's native Co. Sligo.

Daniel (Danny) Joseph MULVIHILL [Parents] was born 15 Nov 1899 in Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 5 Feb 1996 in Chicago. Daniel married Mary Agnes MULVIHILL in probably Chicago.
Danny emigrated to the United States in 1920, eventually settling in Chicago where he co-founded Comhaltas North America (Comhaltas is an organisation set up to promote traditional Irish music, song, dance and language). Here is some further information on Danny taken from a tribute on www.moyvane.com:
"Danny was the second child and first boy in a family of eleven children. He attended school in Moyvane until 1915 when his mother passed away leaving his father with the responsibility of eleven children with the oldest 16 years of age and the youngest just an infant. Sometime around 1918 he became a volunteer in the Kerry Brigade of the Irish Republican Army and because of his involvement in IRA activities he was forced to leave Ireland in 1920. He lived in New York for about a year before moving to Chicago where he would spend the rest of his life. In Chicago he worked as a conductor for the Surface Lines Transit Systems and after 12 years there he joined the Chicago Fire Department and retired as a Lieutenant in 1963".

Mary Agnes MULVIHILL was born in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. She died about 1914 in probably Chicago. Mary married Daniel (Danny) Joseph MULVIHILL in probably Chicago.
