John MOLONEY [Parents] was born about 21 Dec 1876 in Islandanny, Duagh, Co. Kerry and was christened 23 Dec 1976 in Duagh, Co. Kerry. He married Julia BRODERICK on 24 Feb 1906 in Duagh, Co. Kerry.

Julia BRODERICK [Parents] was born about 1872 in Ballymacjordan, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. She married John MOLONEY on 24 Feb 1906 in Duagh, Co. Kerry.

Julia and John lived on the Broderick family farm in Ballymacjordan, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. The farm eventually passed to John's nephew Ted Moloney.

Daniel BRODERICK was born about 1838. He married Julia HARNETT.

Timothy CUNNINGHAM (caution: not verified) [Parents] was born possibly about 1800s in Kilbaha, or poss Abbeydorney area, Co. Kerry. He married Mary GRIFFIN (caution: not verified).

I am assuming, although I have no firm proof, that Mary was the wife of our Timothy Cunningham. I'm basing my assumption on a baptismal record located for a Dermot Cunningham, son of a Timothy Cunningham and a Mary Griffin of Kilbaha, who was baptised on 26 November 1841 (the sponsor was Winifred Cunningham).

James HARRINGTON was born about 1830. He died between 31 Mar 1901 and 2 Apr 1911 in probably Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. James married Johanna CUNNINGHAM on 19 Feb 1852 in Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

A Mary Harrington of Kilbaha, Newtownsandes, Co. Kerry emigrated to the United States in 1899 aged 25, joining her brother (first name or initial illegible on manifest) at 374 Lexington Avenue in Brooklyn. Could Mary have been a daughter or granddaughter of James and Johanna?

Johanna CUNNINGHAM [Parents] was born about 21 Nov 1823 in Kilbaha, Newtownsandes (Moyvane), Co. Kerry and was christened 23 Nov 1823 in Listowel, Co. Kerry. She died between 31 Mar 1901 and 2 Apr 1911 in probably Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Johanna married James HARRINGTON on 19 Feb 1852 in Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

Michael (Mikey) FITZGERALD died date unknown. He married Jane MADDEN.

Mikey was from Lenamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry.

A Richard Fitzgerald of Lenamore who died on 1 February 1927 aged 75 is buried in Killehenny Cemetery along with his wife, Julia who died 4 July 1954. Another Richard Fitzgerald from Lenamore is buried in Murhur Cemetery beside his wife, Mary Bridget. Richard died aged 78 on 16 October 1971 in hospital in Listowel and Mary Bridget died aged 84 on 19 July 1975 in hospital in Tralee. They were survived by sons and daughters, and Richard was survived by brothers and a sister. Richard, who had a life-long interest in horses, passed his farm on to a son. Could one of his sons have been Tom Fitzgerald of Lenamore who died on 14 Ocober 1997 and who is also buried in Murhur Cemetery. Tom's wife's name was Nora (maiden name unknown) and, at the time of his death, he left sons, daughters (including Maria, a primary school teacher), a brother (Eddie who died in England in 1996) and sisters (including Mrs Ned Collins of Lenamore). Tom kept greyhounds. Also, a John Fitzgerald from Lenamore owned St. John's Tavern in Archway in London a number of years ago.

Jane MADDEN [Parents] was born possibly 1905 in Lenamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry. She died 22 Dec 1985. Jane married Michael (Mikey) FITZGERALD.

Jane and her husband, Mikey, lived on Well St. in Ballylongford.

Daniel (Danny) MADDEN [Parents] was born 3 Jun 1896 in Lenamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry and was christened 4 Jun 1896 in Ballylongford, Co. Kerry. He died Jul 1971 and was buried in Old Cemetery, Knockanure, Co. Kerry. Daniel married Kathleen MORAN.

Danny's baptismal sponsors were Edmond Madden and Margaret Ahern.

Kathleen MORAN died 19 Jan 1987 in Lenamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry and was buried in Old Cemetery, Knockanure, Co. Kerry. She married Daniel (Danny) MADDEN.

Kathleen and her husband, Danny, lived in Lenamore. They had no children.
