Joanna (Annie) FINUCANE [Parents] was born 17 Jul 1890 in possibly Ralapane, Tarbert, Co. Kerry and was christened 17 Jul 1890 in Tarbert, Co. Kerry. She married John O'CONNOR on 1919.

Thomas (Tom) DOBSON was born in Dublin. He died 1988 in Canada. Thomas married Eileen O'CONNOR in Dublin.

Tom was a medical doctor.

One of Tom's cousins is the actor Kevin Dobson who appeared in the 1970s TV series Kojak.

Robert KEATING was born about 1874 in Coolasmuttane, Charleville, Co. Cork. He died 4th April 1914 in probably Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Robert married Catherine (Katie) FINUCANE about 1903.

Robert died of pneumonia aged only 38.

Catherine (Katie) FINUCANE [Parents] was born 20 Apr 1875 in Ardmore, Carhoonakineely, Tarbert, Co. Kerry and was christened 3 May 1875 in Ballylongford, Co. Kerry. She died Oct 1949 in Chicago. Catherine married Robert KEATING about 1903.

According to the 1901 census, 24-year-old Katie was a shopkeeper. After her marriage, she and her husband, Robert Keating, ran a shop and creamery in Newtownsandes (now called Moyvane), Co. Kerry. Katie emigrated to Chicago with her children in 1926. She died, aged 74, one month after the death of her son David.

David F. KEATING was born about 1914 in Newtownsandes (Moyvane), Co. Kerry. He died 20 Sep 1949 in Chicago.

David, a patrolman in the Chicago Police Department, was shot dead in the line of duty. He was 34 years old.

Michael KEANE married Mary FINUCANE.

Mary FINUCANE [Parents] was born about 1874 in Ardmore, Carhoonakineely, Tarbert, Co. Kerry. She married Michael KEANE.

John Francis ROANTREE [Parents] died date unknown. He married Ellen SWAN.

John Francis was the eldest of a large family. He served in the British army and his eldest three children were born in England before the family returned to Ireland in the 1920s where three more children were born.

Edmund HUDSON was born probably about 1780s or 1790s in north Co. Kerry. He married Mary GALLIVAN.

Because Edmund's eldest child (or the eldest child from the list we have below) was born in Bunagara (also spelled Bunagarha), Listowel, Co. Kerry, where my Hudson family had connections, I suspect Edmund and his family are realted to me, hence their inclusion in my family trees. Sometime after the birth of their eldest child, the family moved to Warren (which I believe to be in the townland of Ballyeagh), Ballybunion, Co. Kerry.

Mary GALLIVAN was born probably about 1790s or 1810s in probably north Co. Kerry. She married Edmund HUDSON.

They had the following children:

Ellen HUDSON was born about 16 May 1821 in Bunagara, Listowel, Co. Kerry and was christened 18 May 1821 in Listowel, Co. Kerry.

Five children (that we know of) were born to a Simon or Senan or Synan Mahony and Ellen Hudson of Warren or Kilehenny, Ballybunion between 1843 and 1855. Could Ellen above have been the Ellen Hudson who married Mr. Mahony? The Mahony children were:
