This other Patrick, who was born in Limerick and whose father's name was William (from Patrick's marriage certificate), married Limerick-born Mary Anne Walsh in 1868 in Bengal, India and their first child was born in India before the family settled in Cardiff, Wales where Patrick and Mary Anne raised nine children: Patrick, Charles, William, George, Albert, Alice, Martha, Ellen and Ann (there may also have been a James). Family lore has it that the Patrick who married Mary Anne Walsh was a brother of Sir Luke but this doesn't seem to be the case. Any help in shedding light on the connection between the families of the two Patricks would be very much appreciated. If you have any information please email Helen@HelensFamilyTrees.com.
