Two of of the children of 'unknown' above married Gordon siblings from Curreentorpan in Fairymount: Patrick married Ellen and May married James.

John GORDON [Parents] was born 1889 in Fairymount, Co. Roscommon. He died 1964 and was buried in Kilclooney Cemetery, Milltown, Tuam, Co. Galway. John married Mary 'UNKNOWN' in USA.

John and Freda were twins.

Mary 'UNKNOWN' was born in Navan. She died 1959 in USA. Mary married John GORDON in USA.

John and Mary had no children. When Mary died, John returned to Ireland from the States.

Frank GORDON [Parents] was born 1891 in Fairymount, Co. Roscommon. He died 1983 in prob Dublin and was buried in Kilclooney Cemetery, Milltown, Tuam, Co. Galway. Frank married Amy FFRENCH-LYNCH.

Frank farmed in Kilclooney, near Tuam, Co. Galway until his retirement when he moved to Dalkey, Co. Dublin.

Amy FFRENCH-LYNCH was born in Kilclooney, Milltown, Tuam, Co. Galway. She died 26 Nov 1977 in Dublin and was buried in Kilclooney Cemetery, Milltown, Tuam, Co. Galway. Amy married Frank GORDON.

Tom FEEHAN was born in Co. Carlow. He was buried in Balickmoyler, Co. Carlow. Tom married Ethel GORDON.

Ethel and Tom had no children.

Ethel GORDON [Parents] was born 1882 in Fairymount, Co. Roscommon. She died 1978 and was buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. Ethel married Tom FEEHAN.

Ethel and her sisters, Laura, Freda and Ivy, are buried in the same grave in Deansgrange.

Harold LOWEY was born 19 Sep 1897 in England. He died Nov 1941. Harold married Maude GORDON on Jan 1935.

Harold was of Manx origin. He was a naval officer, and after his marriage he and Maude lived for a time in Malta before returning to England. Harold was killed when his ship, HMS Dunedin, was torpedoed by a German U-boat in the South Atlantic in November 1941.

Maude GORDON [Parents] was born 23 Aug 1894 in Fairymount, Co. Roscommon. She died 11 Aug 1987 and was buried in Shanganagh Cemetery, Dublin. Maude married Harold LOWEY on Jan 1935.

There's a Maude Gordon listed (along with a Gertrude Gordon) in the 1911 census of Ireland as a 15-year-old student at Loreto Convent boarding school in Dalkey, Co. Dublin. Athough the county of birth of Maude is given as Co. Galway, it's possible the Maude at Loreto is our Maude above.

Jim HEGARTY [Parents] was born 1928. He died 1987 and was buried in Shanganagh Cemetery, Dublin. Jim married Mary BLYTHE.

Daniel HEGARTY was born 1885 in Cork City. He died 1953 and was buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. Daniel married Gertrude (Gertie) GORDON.

Daniel was a bank manager in Castletownbere, Co. Cork.

Gertrude (Gertie) GORDON [Parents] was born 1895 in Fairymount, Co. Roscommon. She died 1977 and was buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. Gertrude married Daniel HEGARTY.

There's a Gertrude Gordon listed (along with a Maude Gordon) in the 1911 census of Ireland as a 13-year-old student at Loreto Convent boarding school in Dalkey, Co. Dublin. Athough the county of birth of Gertrude is given as Co. Galway, it's possible the Gertrude at Loreto is our Maude above.

Cormac GORDON [Parents] was born 31 Dec 1933 in Mohill, Co. Leitrim. He died 8 Oct 2001 in Connecticut (on vacation). Cormac married Mary MURPHY in Sutton, Dublin.

Cormac graduated from university in London with degrees in civil and electrical engineering. He worked for the Department of Industry and Commerce and was involved in energy research. Cormac lived in Sutton in Dublin.
