Michael, who lived in Killiney, Co. Dublin, worked in the Land Commission. He died at the age of 102.

William (Willie) O'CONNOR [Parents] was born in Sallowglen, Tarbert, Co. Kerry. He died 14 Sep 1969. William married Eileen HOLLY.

Willie was the eldest in the family. He lived in Cross of the Wood in Tarbert.

Eileen HOLLY was born about 1915. She died 30 Nov 1958. Eileen married William (Willie) O'CONNOR.

Willie and Eileen had no children. Eileen was only 43 years of age when she died.

Denis O'CONNOR [Parents] was born 17 Nov 1917 in Sallowglen, Tarbert, Co. Kerry. He died 29 Dec 1989. Denis married Mary (May) MULVIHILL.

William (Billy) CUNNINGHAM [Parents] was born Nov 1910 in Newtownsandes (Moyvane) village, Co. Kerry and was christened 1 Dec 1910 in Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 22 Nov 1985 in Listowel, Co. Kerry and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. William married Johanna (Jo) O'CONNOR.

Billy's baptismal sponsors were William Foran and Honora Shine.

Billy and his wife, Jo, were related. It's thought by a family member that they might have been third cousins, but the exact connection hasn't been established. We do know that Billy's father's name was Maurice and that Maurice's father's name was Bryan (Maurice's children were known as the 'Maurice Bryans'). However it's not known if Maurice was a son of "Little Bryan" (which would make Jo and Billy third cousins once removed), or a son of Bryan Cunningham who married Johanna Hudson (which would make them first cousins once removed). Perhaps the former is more likely.

Billy, who was a fine singer, inherited the Cunningham family home in Moyvane village.

Johanna (Jo) O'CONNOR [Parents] was born 9 Apr 1913 in Sallowglen, Tarbert, Co. Kerry. She died 9 Jan 1986 in Listowel, Co. Kerry and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Johanna married William (Billy) CUNNINGHAM.

Francis (Frank) HANRAHAN was born about 1914. He died 6 Dec 1983 and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Francis married Nora O'CONNOR.

Nora and Frank lived in either Shrone or Lenamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry.

Paddy was elected to Kerry County Council in 1942, and in 1943 he was elected as TD (Teachta Dála, meaning member of parliament) for Clann na Talún (the Farmers' Party). At a later stage he was elected to the Dáil as an Independent TD. He was never defeated at election time, and in 1969 he retired after 26 years in the Dáil. His main achievement as a TD was the implementation of the Cashen drainage scheme which proved vital in the prevention of flooding in north Kerry.

Elizabeth (Lily) HANRAHAN [Parents] was born 10 Oct 1897 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry and was christened 12 Oct 1897 in Moyvane, Co. Kerry. She died 10 Nov 1943 in Urlee, Lisselton, Co. Kerry and was buried in St. Michael's Cemetery, Listowel, Co. Kerry. Elizabeth married Patrick (Paddy) FINUCANE on 1920 in Listowel Church, Co. Kerry.

Lily's baptismal sponsors were Jeremiah Hanrahan and Mary Hudson.

Prior to her marriage to Paddy, Lily's parents had arranged a marriage between her and someone else. But Lily and Paddy had fallen in love, and they eloped. After their marriage they lived in Kilbaha where their first child was born. The move to Urlee in Lisselton (in about 1923) came about because they bought or were given the farm of Lily's uncle Mike Buckley and his wife, Maria (née Kissane) who had no children.

Lily and Paddy were second cousins once removed - Paddy's great-grandfather Bryan Cunningham and Lily's grandmother Margaret (Peg) Cunningham were brother and sister.

Lily was only 44 years of age when she died.
