Ellen (Nellie) GALVIN [Parents]

James (Jamesie Ellen) GALVIN was born in Gortaclahane, near Rahea, Listowel, Co. Kerry. He married Nora STACK.

Peg Galvin, the second wife of Jamesie's brother, John, was related to Sr. Irene Stack and her siblings (i.e., the children of Ned Stack and Ciss Ruddle). John ran the "Bon Ton Bar" on Church St. in Listowel. Jamesie Ellen had another brother, Denis, who farmed in Rahea. All the Galvin brothers were very tall and of strong physique.

Nora STACK [Parents] was born in probably the Hill, Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. She married James (Jamesie Ellen) GALVIN.

Robert was a farmer.

Jane HANRAHAN [Parents] was born about 28 Jan 1864 in Moohane, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry and was christened 30 Jan 1864 in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. She died 29 Jul 1926 and was buried in Killehenny Graveyard, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. Jane married Robert JOHNSON on 15 Nov 1898 in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry.

It's known Jane married a Mr. Johnson and lived in Ballybunion. The only Johnsons I have come across who lived in Ballybunion were Robert and Jane Johnson and their family who lived in the Ahima, a townland in Killehenny parish near Ballybunion also spelled Ahimma). I believe this is the family of our Jane above. The names and dates below come from census returns and headstone inscriptions.
