Edmond (Ned) STACK [Parents] was born 4 Jan 1878 in the Hill, Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 9 Nov 1957 in Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry and was buried in Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Edmond married Bridget (Bridie) HANLON.

Ned was also known as "Ned William" and "Ned at the Hill".

Bridget (Bridie) HANLON was born in Ballyduff, Co. Kerry. She died about 1956 and was buried in Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Bridget married Edmond (Ned) STACK.

Timothy (Timmy) STACK "Timmy" was born 1928 in Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 2 May 2006 in London and was buried in Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

Tom attended St. Michael's College in Listowel and studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin. He practiced in London where he lived for the rest of his life. He never married.

John CUNNINGHAM [Parents] was born about 1851 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He married Nora CREGAN.

Nora CREGAN was born about 1859 in Co. Kerry. She married John CUNNINGHAM.

John and Nora farmed at Clogagh, Glin, Co. Limerick.

It's being presumed that John died as a child, perhaps at birth, because there was another John born six years later.

Richard emigrated to the United States, arriving in New York on 3 April 1923. Acording to the ship manifest his contact in New York was his brother John who had emigrated three years earlier and who lived at 2437 8th Avenue.

John CUNNINGHAM was born 10 Feb 1899 in Clogagh, Glin, Co. Limerick. She died after 1998 in USA.

John emigrated to the United States at the age of 21, arriving in New York on 11 June 1920. His contact in New York was a cousin, Denis Cregan, who lived in Long Island City. It appears John may have been the first of seven siblings to emigrate (only one remained in Ireland).

Catherine was the only member of the family who didn't emigrate. She never married.

Patrick (Paddy) CUNNINGHAM was born 1 Nov 1904 in Clogagh, Glin, Co. Limerick. He died in Glin, Co. Limerick.

Paddy emigrated to the United States and retired to Glin where he died. He never married.

Nicholas MADDEN [Parents] was born about 1846 in prob Kilgarvan, Lisselton, Co. Kerry. He died 23 Apr 1919 in Leanamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry and was buried in Killehenny Cemetery, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. Nicholas married Sarah NOLAN on 14 Feb 1888 in Ballylongford, Co. Kerry.

According to Nicholas's death certificate the cause of death was "probably paralysis, twelve months, no medical attendant".

There's no information on the children of Sarah and Nicholas, although it's known that there is/was a Jane Madden, married to a Dick Fitzgerald, who was somehow blood-related to Sarah. It's thought Jane would might have been of the same generation as grandchildren of Sarah and Nicholas. Could Jane, in fact, be a granddaughter?

Among the great-grandchildren(?) of Sarah and Nicholas are two sisters, Mary and Sheila O'Sullivan. It's thought Mary lives in Limerick, and it's known she has done genealogical research on the Nolans and/or Maddens. Contact with Mary would be most welcome.

Sarah NOLAN [Parents] was born 23 Dec 1864 in Leanamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry. She died after 23 Apr 1919 in prob Leanamore, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry. Sarah married Nicholas MADDEN on 14 Feb 1888 in Ballylongford, Co. Kerry.

Witnesses to the marriage of Sarah and Nicholas were Daniel Madden and Katie Nolan (probably Sarah's sister).

William (Willie) STACK [Parents] "Willie" was born 1922 in Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 3 Oct 2000 in Tralee, Co. Kerry and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Willie married Kathleen ENRIGHT on 1963.

Daniel (Dan) ENRIGHT [Parents] "Dan" was born about 1900. He died 1942 in Dublin. Dan married Hannah BUCKLEY on 1930.

Dan and Hannah ran the Enright family pub in Moyvane.

Dan died of TB in Peamount Hospital in Dublin at the age of only 42.

Patrick TRANT died about 1992. He married Mary (Mai) STACK on 1946.

Mary (Mai) STACK [Parents] was born 1923 in Gortdromasillihy, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. She died 2004. Mary married Patrick TRANT on 1946.

Jim O'CONNOR was born in prob. Gortdromagowna, Knockanure, Co. Kerry. He died 7 Dec 2001 and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Jim married Kathleen STACK on 1956.

Jim and Kathleen farmed at Gortdromagowna, Knockanure. Their farm was called "The Hill", so named, at least as far back as the 1870s, to reflect the topography and to distinguish the property from those of four other O'Connor families in the area at the time.

Edward CUNNINGHAM [Parents] was born Nov 1856 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 11 Jan 1924 in Chicago. Edward married 'UNKNOWN'.

Edward was educated at St. Michael's College in Listowel. He emigrated to the U.S around 1896 and settled in Chicago.

'UNKNOWN' married Edward CUNNINGHAM.
