(Norah) married Daniel (Dan) LYONS, son of James LYONS and Ellen 'UNKNOWN', on 4 Mar 1905 in Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Daniel was born about 1875 in Derry, Listowel, Co. Kerry.

According to the 1911 census, Dan and Nora had been married six years and had five children born alive, four of whom were still alive at the time of the census.

Jack married Catherine (Kate) HANRAHAN, daughter of Patrick HANRAHAN. Catherine was born about 1878 in Ahalahana or Aughrim, Newtownsandes (Moyvane), Co. Kerry. She died 16 Mar 1965 and was buried in probably Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

William HUDSON was born Dec 1921 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 12 Mar 2006 and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

William lived for many years in Coventry in England, but moved back to Ireland in 1974 where he lived for a time with his brother Pat in Lixnaw, Co. Kerry. He later moved to Irremore, near Listowel, Co. Kerry.

John HUDSON was born 24 Aug 1926 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. He died 2 Aug 1934 and was buried in probably Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

John died of "tubercular disease of the hip" a month before his eighth birthday.

James was a policeman in England, like his elder brother Richard.

James married Irene HEAD in 1922 in England. Irene died 8 Aug 1978 in England.

Maggie is not listed in the 1901 census return for her father's household. There is however a Margaret Hudson, aged 13, listed as a visitor in the household of a Thomas Sheehan of Kilbaha South (Maggie's older sister, Mary Anne, was married to a Thomas Sheehan in Kilbaha).

Margaret married James (Jim) ENRIGHT in 1912. James died possibly 24 Oct 1945.

Jim farmed in Clounleharde in Ballyhahill, Co. Limerick.

There's an Ellis Island record for what appears to be Nora Thornton from Newtownsandes who emigrated, aged 21, in September 1924. Could this be our Nora? On the ship manifest her nearest relative in Ireland is given as "Mr. Thornton" of Kilbaha, Newtownsandes. Nora was joining a sister, "Miss M. Thornton" (could this be Mamie?) in New York City. However it's believed our Nonie and her husband lived in Dirreen, Athea. Could she have emigrated and returned?

Nonie married John SHANAHAN, son of Patrick (Paddy) SHANAHAN and Bridget SULLIVAN. John was born about 1914 in Direen, Athea, Co. Limerick. He died 4 Nov 2009 and was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Athea, Co. Limerick.
