She's not listed in the Kilbaha returns in 1911. Kerry.<br> <br>According to Michael's death certificate, he was aged 24 when he died in 1912, which would mean he was born in 1887 or 1888 rather than 1880. His headstone gives his age at death as 27, which would mean he was born in 1884 or 1885. Michael's baptismal record, showing his year of birth to be 1880, is the most dependable indication of date of birth (even moreso than birt certificates as births were often registered many months after the event whereas baptisms in Ireland at that time typically took place a day or two after the birth). &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <br> Michael died around the age of 30. I had been told by a family source that he died of a perforated appendix.
