Ellen (née O'Sullivan) and Thomas Treacy

This photo of Ellen O'Sullivan and Thomas Treacy was taken on their wedding day in 1915. Ellen and Thomas lived in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary where Thomas owned the gasworks. Ellen, who was was born in Glynn, Mourneabbey, Co. Cork in 1888, was one of the 10 children of 'Big Jim' O'Sullivan from Caheraveelane, Kilshannig, Co. Cork and Julia Doody from Galbally, Co. Limerick. Ellen died in Carrick-on-Suir in 1972.
