Michael and David O'Sullivan, who were born in Charleville, Co. Cork, were grandsons of Michael Sullivan (the family used the Sullivan rather than the O'Sullivan name in the early 19th century) and sons of Michael O'Sullivan and Catherine McDermott.
 
Both Michael and David (pictured) died in 1953; Michael was only 52 years of age and it's thought David was only about 50. Michael had been living in Greenwich, Connecticut for about 30 years. He was married to Marie Roedelbrann or Roedelbronn but it's not known if they had any children. David was unmarried and lived in the family home which was by then on Marina Terrace in Cork.
