John O'Sullivan was born about 1901 in Charleville, Co. Cork to Michael O'Sullivan and Catherine McDermott. He was a brother of Michael and David (see previous photo).

John joined the Capuchin order, becoming Fr. Ephrem. He worked in Kilkenny for many years and died in Dublin in 1958.
