Kate Gordon was born in 1877 in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon to John O'Connor (see earlier photo) and Mary O'Connor.

Kate lived in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal where she worked as a housekeeper for her brother James (see previous photo) who was a doctor. Like James, Kate never married. She died in Ballyshannon in 1950 aged 72.
