Honoria (Nora) O'Hara, born in 1869 in Moigh, Cootehall, Co. Roscommon, was the eldest of the 14 children of Michael O'Hara and Bridget Hogg. In 1900 Nora married Michael McCormick from Cootehall, a member of the RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary). They had six children and lived in Sligo.
