Cormac Gordon (1870-1939) was one of the 16 children of Thomas Gordon and Anne Foley. He ran the family farm in Kilgarriff in Fairymount, Co. Roscommon. In 1906 Cormac married Mary Morahan from Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and they had eight children.
