Emily O'Hara, who was born in Cloongreghan, Cootehall, Co. Roscommon in 1912 to Patrick O'Hara and Mary Kate Glynn, emigrated to Birmingham in England as a young woman. She married Frank Johnson and they had six children.

Emily was a great-granddaughter of William O'Hara and a first cousin of Annie Jeffares (see earlier photo).
