We can trace our Doody family back to Michael Doody (born about 1820) who may have been born in the parish of Knockainey, Co. Limerick and who settled in the townland of Ardnamoher, Galbally, Co. Limerick. He and his wife, Johanna Quirke, had 12 children, including Michael whose children are pictured below.
