The Gordons pictured below are descendants of John Gordon who was born in Scotland about 1750. John, who was Catholic, moved to Ireland in the latter part of the 18th century and settled in the townland of Kilgarriff in the parish of Fairymount (Tibohine), near Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. John had only one child - that we know of - who had children. His name was either Thomas or Cormac and he and his wife, Anne Hunt, had eight children, including Patrick (who married Mary French) and Thomas (who married Anne Foley), photos of whose families appear below.
