The Hudsons pictured below are descended from Richard Hudson (born around the 1780s) and his wife, Margaret Finucane. Richard, whose family had connections in Tralee, Co. Kerry and in Kilbaha, Newtownsandes (now called Moyvane), Co. Kerry, settled with Margaret in Kilbaha shortly after their youngest child was born. Richard and Margaret had eight children, six of whom emigrated to the United States.
