Patrick, pictured on the left, and Frank Hudson were sons of Richard Hudson and Margaret Finucane, and brothers of Richard and Jeremiah (see previous photos). Patrick was born in 1838, possibly in Tralee, Co. Kerry, while Frank was born about 1831, probably in Duagh, Co. Kerry. The family eventually settled in Kilbaha, Newtownsandes, Co. Kerry. In 1853 Patrick and Frank emigrated together to the United States. Patrick was only 15 years of age.

Patrick joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he spent his entire career. In 1885 he married Anne Carroll whose parents were Irish. They had four children and lived in Philadelphia. Patrick died in 1914.

Frank married Margaret Finnegan, of Irish parentage, in Philadelphia in 1869 and they had seven children. Frank died in Philadelphia in 1898.
