Sheila Hussey was a daughter of Stephen Hussey and Mary Ryan (see earlier photos). Although she grew up in London, she moved with her sisters to Dublin in 1947 where she worked in publishing, journalism and public relations.

Sheila was a first cousin of Monica and Ursula Hussey (see earlier photos).
