Thomas Morahan, son of Owen and Margaret Morahan, was born in 1891 in Cloonfeacle, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. He was principal of Annaduff National School near Carrick-on-Shannon from 1912 until shortly before his death in 1949.
