The O’Connors pictured below are descended from Patrick Connors (the family used the name Connors or Connor until the early 20th century), believed to have been born about 1800 in the townland of Dirreen Lower in Athea, Co. Limerick. Patrick and his wife, Mary Dalton, settled in Kilbaha in the nearby parish of Newtownsandes (now named Moyvane) in Co. Kerry where descendants of theirs still live.
