John O'Connor (known as Jack Bill), was born in 1876 in Kilbaha, Newtownsandes (now Moyvane), Co. Kerry to William O'Connor and Johanna Cunningham. This photo of Jack Bill and Catherine Shanahan (known as Babe) was taken on their wedding day in 1916.

Jack Bill, who ran the O'Connor family farm in Kilbaha, was a brother of Paddy 'Otter' (see previous photo).
