Dick O'Connor, also known as Richie, was born in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry to Jack Bill O'Connor and Babe Shanahan (see previous photo). This picture was taken in the mid-1940s following Dick's graduation from U.C.D. with a B.Agr.Sc. degree. He went on to become an agricultural advisor in Co. Limerick and later in Tralee, Co. Kerry.
