Hannah O'Connor, from Kilbaha, Moyvane. Co. Kerry, was professed in 1944 as a member of the Bon Secours sisters (a French nursing order), taking the name Sr. Patricia. She spent some time in France in the 1940s before returning to Ireland where she worked in the pathology department of the Bon Secours Hospital in Cork. Apart from a brief period in Tralee in the 1990s, Sr. Patricia spent the rest of her life in Cork.
