Fr. Paddy Stack was a grandson of John Shanahan and Catherine Woulfe.

Born in 1899 in Ballygoughlin, Glin, Co. Limerick, Paddy Stack was the youngest of the 10 children of Tom Stack of the Hill, Newtownsandes, Co. Kerry and Ellie Shanahan of Kilbaha, Newtownsandes. He was a first cousin of Babe Shanahan of Kilbaha (see previous photo).

Paddy was ordained a priest in Freiburg in Germany and later served as a parish priest in California. He died in 1984.
