Maunie and her husband, Patrick Sheehy, were second cousins (through the Shanahans). They lived in Derry, Listowel and may have had more children than Jimmy, listed below.

Patrick married Mary (Maunie) STACK, daughter of Robert (Bob) STACK and Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN. Mary was born about 1924 in Drommurher, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. She died 22 Feb 2002 and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

Jane married John CONWAY about 1938. John was born in probably Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 29 Apr 1975.

John was a brother of Pat who married Jane's first cousin Phina Stack. John's and Pat's family ran Conway's Hotel in Glin. John himself was a bank manager.

Ellen married William (Billy) GIBSON about 1938. William died 1993.

Billy was a postmaster. He and Nell lived in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

May was a nurse.

Mary married John (Jack) FITZGERALD. John died 19 Sep 1993.

Jack was a farmer. He and May lived in Killacolla, Glin, Co. Limerick.

108. Phina STACK (Edward/Edmond (Ned) STACK , Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , John ) was born 1924 in probably Ballygoughlan, Glin, Co. Limerick. She died 1999.

Phina married Patrick (Pat) CONWAY in 1957. Patrick was born in probably Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 1993.

Pat was a brother of John who married Phina's first cousin, Jane Moore. Pat's and John's family ran Conway's Hotel in Glin.

109. Thomas (Tom) STACK (Edward/Edmond (Ned) STACK , Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , John ) was born 1925 in probably Ballygoughlan, Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 1972 in England.

When Tom left school, he studied engineering but abandoned his course during World War II to enlist in the RAF. Because of a minor sight defect he was not accepted for training as a pilot; instead he served with the ground force of the RAF and spent time in Burma. After the war, with RAF funding, he studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin and qualified as a doctor. He later moved to England where he worked as a GP in Staffordshire.

Thomas married Anne FOSTER. Anne was born 24 Nov 1927 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. She died 19 Sep 2004 in England.

Anne's first name was actually Dorothy but she was always known by her second name. She and Tom met at Trinity College Dublin where they were both studying medicine. Like Tom, she worked as a GP in Staffordshire.

Maureen married Michael Patrick DORE on 10 Feb 1948. Michael died 11 May 1955.

Michael ran a hardware and grocery store in Glin. He and Maureen lived on Main St. in Glin.

Note that Michael is not related to the Dores of Moyvane South, Co. Kerry.

Sean married Philomena (Phil) ADAMS in 1954. Philomena died 19 Mar 2001.
