Dan was a farmer. He and Bridie lived in Moyvane village, opposite the site of the old church.

Jane married John CONWAY about 1938. John was born in prob. Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 29 Apr 1975.

John was a brother of Pat who married Jane's first cousin, Phina Stack. John's and Pat's family ran Conway's Hotel in Glin. John himself was a bank manager.

Nell married Billy GIBSON about 1938. Billy died 1993.

Billy was a postmaster. He and Nell lived in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

Pat married Annie O'CONNOR about 1948. Annie was born about 1920. She died 4 Sep 1996 and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

85. May MOORE (Mary STACK , Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , John ) was born 1924 in prob. Ballyculhane, Glin, Co. Limerick. She died Jul 1999.

May married Jack FITZGERALD. Jack died 19 Sep 1993.

87. Phina STACK (Edward/Edmond (Ned) STACK , Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , John ) was born 1924 in prob. Ballygoughlan, Glin, Co. Limerick. She died 1999.

Phina married Pat CONWAY in 1957. Pat was born in prob. Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 1993.

Pat was a brother of John who married Phina's first cousin, Jane Moore. Pat's and John's family ran Conway's Hotel in Glin.

88. Tom STACK (Edward/Edmond (Ned) STACK , Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , John ) was born 1925 in prob. Ballygoughlan, Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 1972 in England.

When Tom left school, he studied engineering but abandoned his course during World War II to enlist in the RAF. Because of a minor sight defect he was not accepted for training as a pilot; instead he served with the ground force of the RAF and spent time in Burma. After the war, with RAF funding, he studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin and qualified as a doctor. He later moved to England where he worked as a GP in Staffordshire.

Tom married Anne FOSTER. Anne was born 24 Nov 1927 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. She died 19 Sep 2004 in England.

Anne's first name was actually Dorothy but she was always known by her second name. She and Tom met at Trinity College Dublin where they were both studying medicine. Like Tom, she worked as a GP in Staffordshire.

Maureen married Michael Patrick DORE on 10 Feb 1948. Michael died 11 May 1955.

Michael ran a hardware and grocery store in Glin. He and Maureen lived on Main St. in Glin.

Note that Michael is not related to the Dores of Moyvane South, Co. Kerry.

Sean married Phil ADAMS in 1954. Phil died 19 Mar 2001.

Eileen married George FROST on 28 Mar 1951. George was born about 1920 in Portdrine, Cratloe, Co. Clare. He died 12 Oct 1984 in Dublin.

George retired as Chief Agricultural Officer for Co. Waterford.

Nance married Dan SHEAHAN. Dan died Nov 2000.
