Vera was a teacher in Limerick.

28. Richard (Dick) STACK "Dick" (Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , Catherine ) was born 19 Aug 1894 in Ballygoughlan, Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 12 Jul 1961 in NSW, Australia and was buried in Rockwood Cemetery, Sydney, Australia.

Dick was a marine radio officer for many years before settling in NSW, Australia.

Dick married Anne Veronica (Vera) MONAGHAN "Vera". Vera was born 27 May 1907 in Australia. She died 14 Feb 1998 in Australia.

Vera was from Lurline St., Katoomba, NSW.

29. James (Jim) STACK "Jim" (Ellen (Ellie) SHANAHAN , Catherine ) was born 3 Sep 1896 in Ballygoughlan, Glin, Co. Limerick. He died 17 Jul 1965 and was buried in Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

Jim married Mary (Molly) CUNNINGHAM "Molly", daughter of Richard (Richie) CUNNINGHAM and Brigid (Brigie) DORE "Brigie", in Apr 1921. Molly was born 10 Mar 1893 in Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. She died 22 Jul 1976 in Tralee, Co. Kerry and was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery, Gale Bridge, Moyvane, Co. Kerry.

After they married, Jim and Molly lived on the Dore family farm in Moyvane South (Molly's mother was a Dore). Jim was a skilled farmer. He used to kill his own and his neighbours' pigs. He also had great expertise with cattle, and was a hard worker, managing to increase the capacity of the farm from 18 to 40 milch cows, with the assistance in later years of his son Dick and daughter Bridie.
