Lonergan
We have traced our Lonergan family back to Ellen Lonergan (sometimes spelled Londrigan) who married Michael Hanley around 1810 and lived in Soloheadbeg, Co. Tipperary. It appears Ellen and Michael were the parents of my great-great-grandmother Mary Hanley (c.1826-1899) who married Edmond Carew/Carey of Soloheadbeg. Although we know little about the Lonergan family, information on Ellen’s descendants may be found by clicking on Descendant list or Narrative report.
