O'Hara

We can trace our O’Hara family back to Joe’s 3rd great-grandfather Laurence O’Hara who married Mary McDonagh around 1796. Both were originally from Co. Sligo, probably from the Riverstown area, but settled in Cootehall, Co. Roscommon. Their sons (that we know of) farmed in Glooria and Clegna in Cootehall and in Oxhill, Knockvicar, Co. Roscommon.
